A project of reading, reflection, and community

Christian Minus
Christianity

US-American-based project created in dialogue with Christians and Muslims in Palestine that is rooted in the teachings of liberation educators and contextual theologians from the Global South. It urges Western Christians to faithfully resist trending forms of Christianity, particularly those now dominant in the United States, that distort the ethics of Jesus and the way of the cross. We strive to be Christian “minus” these types of empire Christianities that make Holy Scripture a facilitator of Palestinian colonization and genocide with their simplified, unprofessional, and uncritical approaches to Bible study.
